Profile : Having recently held the position as a staff photographer, working on a variety of assignments for the Football Association and Everton FC, Matt West has launched his own photographic company. Matt West graduated from Huddersfield University with a BA Honours in photography and since then he has worked on numerous photographic projects. Travelling around the country Matt West has regularly photographed top-flight football, such as England Internationals and events at the David Beckham Academy in London, producing high quality imagery for commercial use. Matt West's passion for photography and travelling has led him to Asia, Malaysia, Australasia, North/South America, and European countries. Gaining valuable experience in not just photography but life. Matt West is inspired by working on projects with no second chances, providing him with the opportunity/freedom to be original and creative with his photography. He has worked on a variety of different subjects at locations locally, nationally and internationally. Although the majority of his work has been within the sporting environment and in particular football, he is still interested in photographing a wedding or any other special occasion.
