Matt West graduated from Huddersfield University with a BA Honours in photography in 1999 and since then he worked as a staff photographer for Mooney Photo who worked with both the Football Association and Everton Football Club. He then set off on a full non stop year travelling the world. Matt West is now working as a dedicated freelance photographer for a UK based sports photographic agency and publishing company.

Regularly travelling around the UK and many European countries Matt West has photographed top-flight football matches, including Senior Internationals, Barclays Premier League, Champions League, Europa League, Seria A, and Bundesliga football, producing high quality creative imagery for newspapers, magazines and websites across the globe.

Matt West's passion for photography and travelling has led him to Asia, Malaysia, Australasia, North Africa and North/South American countries. Gaining valuable experience not just in photography but life.
