Matt West graduated from Huddersfield University with a BA Honours in photography in 1999 and since then he has worked as a staff photographer working regularly with both the Football Association and Everton Football Club. After then taking a full non stop year to travel the world, Matt West is now working as a dedicated freelance photographer for a UK based sports photographic agency and publishing company.

Regularly travelling around the UK and many European countries Matt West has photographed top-flight football matches, including senior Internationals, Barclays Premier League, Champions League, UEFA Cup, Seria A, and Bundesliga football, producing high quality creative imagery for newspapers, magazines and websites across the globe.

Matt West's passion for photography and travelling has also led him to Asia, Malaysia, Australasia, and North/South American countries. Gaining valuable experience in not just photography but life.

Matt West uses the very latest professional digital photographic equipment and digital software to produce and transmit fast powerful live images from locations around the world.

Although the majority of his work has been within the sporting environment and in particular football and rugby, he is still interested in photographing a wedding or any other special occasion.
